In the first Presidential Debate, Mitt Romney said that he plans to get rid of Bird and cut PBS!  This is nothing less than an outrage!  Tens of millions of American adults grew up with Big Bird.  Countless children today love Big Bird and the whole Sesame Street show.  For decades Sesame Street has helped children improve their academic skills and learn about the world around them all while bringing a smile to their faces.  The show has helped educate Americans.

 If Mitt Romney is elected President he would do away with Big Bird, Sesame Street and all of PBS!  At a time when China is graduating more scientists and mathematicians than America, Mitt Romney wants to trash an educational program that has proven its worth year after year and decade after decade.  Mitt Romney must think that everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth like he was, and can afford high priced private tutors. 

Mitt Romney's attack on Big Bird is an attack on the children and future generations of children who would be denied this high quality free educational program.  Big Bird is an American symbol of what good education is all about.  Mitt Romney's attack on Big Bird is appalling.  Big Bird must be saved!
